My Story

I grew up outside of Chicago in a classic big Irish Catholic family. I was the youngest of five, and was obsessed with sports, history, and statistics from a young age.

From there, I studied Finance before switching my major to Biology and Physics at Indiana University. I then turned my attention to healthcare, obtaining a doctorate degree, and working with professional athletes for a number of years.

I never stopped tracking the financial markets, and always studied them with a passion independently.

I was pulled back into the investing world full-time when I discovered Bitcoin. I believe my background gives me a unique perspective on markets and helps me see things differently compared to other market analysts in this period of rapid change.

My Bitcoin Journey

As a teenager, I became enthralled with financial history. I read countless books on financial crises, bubbles, manias, and how the financial markets developed into what we have today. From that study, I discovered the ill-effects of fiat currency and the central bankers that control it. In short, I discovered a problem that I felt permeated every other societal problem in our world today — our money is broken.

The problem was, I didn’t see a solution to this massive issue, that is, until I discovered Bitcoin in 2017. Because I already had a deep understanding of the problems that existed with fiat currencies, I immediately comprehended Bitcoin’s value proposition and saw it as an innovative technological solution to the “money problem.”

From there, I was hooked. I had to play a part in bringing sound digital money to the world, for the betterment of society, and to bring hope to younger generations. I decided then that I would dedicate my life to educating others about Bitcoin, and I haven’t looked back since.
