My Life Leading Up To Co-Founding Swan

I spent much of my time growing up playing and working on computers and the internet.

I worked on the web all through college and then took a break to join the Peace Corps. I worked as a middle school teacher on a small island off the coast of Guyana, South America. It was a transformative experience for me personally. Upon my return, I dove back into tech and have spent over 20 years working in every facet of the industry, from design and development to marketing and content.

I helped co-found Swan in 2019 and plan to be here for the rest of my career.

My Bitcoin Journey

I found Bitcoin in early 2017 and immediately consumed every Andreas Antonopoulos video and book I could find. The Block Size War was coming to a head throughout that time. Studying both sides of that debate helped me realize that Bitcoin was the right approach and the only real project in the space.

In 2018 I launched Citizen Bitcoin, a podcast on which I interviewed over 100 of the brightest minds in Bitcoin.

In late 2019 I happened upon the greatest opportunity of my career in Swan. Bitcoin has become a core mission of my life.
